102.1 Band – 'Working on The Radio' 7” single - SIGNED

“Working on the Radio’’ was a one off single put together by 4 former staff members  of  CFNY in 1979 (Brad McNally, Jim Bird, Ivar Hamilton, Lindsay Gillespie) during a time when the radio station had gone in to receivership and was in dire straits, it was very possible CFNY was going to go out of business.  The song was recorded at Sounds Interchange in June of ’79. Guest musicians included Dominec Troiano, Nash The Slash and Teenage Head’s Steve Mahon, Gordie Lewis and Nick Stipanitz. The powerful new wave anthem became a CFNY staple and is still played occasionally by Edge 102 (today’s CFNY).
Recently, a small quantity of the original pressings in mint condition were found in a storage space. Signed by original members, Lindsay Gillespie and Ivar Hamilton, these are also numbered, less than 100 remain in existence.
